When it comes to whiskey, it all starts with a great mash bill. The more transparent the better! Let’s check out the ingredients that makes Taters, Inc. great. Michael Barranda - President Michael is the founding President of Taters. Subject to the control of the Board of Directors the President supervises and manages the operations of the organization and the activities of the officers. He taters in a lot of ways and it usually involves Four Roses. Karen Leininger - Vice President Karen is the Vice President of Taters. The Vice President acts on behalf of the organization in the absence of the President and otherwise assists in the management of the Board of Directors. She also oversees the development of the Tater’s Women in Whiskey initiative. Karen’s favorite way to tater is by finding enjoyment in the small impactful moments and memories that accompany bourbon, namely making friends with strangers. Charles Metz - Vice President of Programming Charles is a founding officer of Taters. In his role as Vice President of Programming, Charles organizes the events and activities for the organization through the oversight of the Programming Committee Chairs. His favorite way to tater is to travel in search of great food, good whiskey and unique experiences! Justin Young - Treasurer Justin is a founding officer of Taters. As Treasurer he is responsible for maintaining the financial matters of the organization, but otherwise serves on several Taters committees. When tatering Justin enjoys hunting bottles, and helping fellow Taters acquire what they are looking for! David Zent - Secretary Dave is the Secretary of Taters responsible for maintaining the minutes and records of the organization. The resident Maker’s Tater, Dave enjoys hunting for bottles for himself and others. He especially enjoys finding the good bottle on the shelf that other people aren’t tatering after…yet. Matt Hakey - Director of Marketing & Branding Matt is the Director of Marketing & Branding for Taters. He combines his love for whiskey and his talent with photos and design for Taters’ unique look and feel. His committee is responsible for online design as well as Taters labels and swag. Matt loves to tater by sharing his contagious passion for whiskey with others through his eye-catching imagery and visuals. Thomas Bucher - Director of Ambassadorship As Director of Ambassadorship Thomas is responsible for coordinating the external affairs of the organization by cultivating the relationships among Taters and affiliate groups and organizations. A tater at heart, Thomas enjoys collecting and comparing single barrel bourbon and rye picks. Paul Lagemann - Director of Tater Relations As a charitable organization it is important for Taters to maintain relationships with its donors and members. Paul’s committee is responsible for donor engagement and facilitating donor intent. Paul has served on and chaired many local non-profit boards and is a regular pilgrim to the bourbon hills of Kentucky with his lovely wife Andie. For this Tater it's about both the bourbon and the story behind it.
